The children we help are unheralded and largely forgotten. But their pleas, however faint, are real. This effort has secured support from doctors and hospitals in the Ukraine who will donate their care. Rotarians and other friends will continue to donate their time and love.
The critical need in the Ukraine has been highlighted by the infectious enthusiasm of New York area (Locust Valley) Rotarian Alex Bout, Sr., who has brought together the Gift of Life International, United Nations support and leaders from the New York business community in a remarkable effort to expand the capability to operate on many children. The success of this project depends on the generosity of our individual and corporate sponsors.
